Each magazine features lifestyle and business content pertaining to different upmarket suburbs in Northern Johannesburg. They will also include in-depth features on interesting personalities who live and work in the area, as well as sections on travel, business, food, wine, leisure activities and much more.

The North is edited by Sharon Preston and the other two titles are under the editorship of Tidi Benbenisti.

These magazines follow the successful formula used by Durban-based Famous Publishing, whose publications include The Ridge, covering Umhlanga Ridge, and The Crest, which covers the Hillcrest area.

The magazines will be distributed free to homes in the areas mentioned – approximately 10 000 to start. They will also be available to upload onto iPad and there will be a community website linked to each  magazine so that readers can access information and comment online.

The magazines will initially be published quarterly.
